The Stirling CFS brigade has been campaigning to upgrade the Stirling fire station for a number of years. The renovation plans are finally at the stage where they have gone to tender, but unfortunately the CFS does not have enough funding to cover the entire cost. The brigade is now attempting to fundraise the $180,000 shortfall in order to have a station that is fit-for-purpose.
